Lorene "Rene" Easley

Lorene "Rene" Brenda Easley, 75, of Norwood, NC passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Rene was born January 24, 1946 in Concord, NC to the late Matthew "Dick" Furr and the late Laura Mae Furr.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Easley; sisters, Patsy Barrier and Faye Harwood; brothers, Earl Furr, Bill Furr and Harold Furr.

Survivors include daughter, Kelly Gray and husband Robert of Concord, NC; daughter, Cindy M. Baucom and husband Jeffrey of Rockwell, NC; grandchildren, Jennifer Revelle and husband Brandon, Brett Baucom and wife Robin, Ryan Linker and wife Corissa, and Savana Baucom; great grandchildren, Myles Revelle, Allie Revelle, Macie Linker, Reese Baucom, Caroline Linker and Brystal Linker; step-grandchildren, April Rottgen and husband Shaun, Josh Gray and wife Sharie, and Laura Key and husband Benjamin; step-great grandchildren, Logan Rottgen, Aidan Gray, Slade Rottgen, Kaitlyn Gray, Brenlee Skladanowski, Emmalee Skladanowski, Brianna Rottgen, Brooklyn Rottgen and Madison Key; as well as brothers, Levon Furr and wife Terry; Jerry Furr and wife Maxine; and Jack Furr; and her lifelong best friend, Terry Wilhoit Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.  A memorial service to celebrate her life will follow at 7:00 pm at in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Gary Bragg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
