Loretta Bundy

Loretta Lou Nowling Bundy, age 70 of Albemarle, passed away on June 19, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends at Cottonville Baptist Church, Norwood, NC on Friday, June 29 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Alex Willoughby. Mrs. Bundy was born in Stanly County on September 20, 1941to the late William James Nowling and the late Mary Fanny Phillips Nowling. She is also preceded in death by a son, Richard Allen Griffin and a sister, Linda Sue Morton. She is survived by one daughter, Karen Griffin Smith and her husband, Dale Smith; one son, Donald Griffin; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Bundy family.
