Loretta Shoe

Loretta Renee Shoe, Age 60 of Mount Pleasant, NC passed away on November 11, 2009 at NC Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem. Born in Stanly county on May 29, 1949, Loretta Renee was preceded in death by her father Cletus Parker, and her mother Ethel Fink Parker. She graduated N. Stanly High School in 1967 and attended Meredith College from 1967 71. She was a multi talented woman and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, arranging flowers, sewing, carpentry, and many other arts and crafts. She taught at the Cabarrus Academy, an insurance agent for Farm Bureau, a sales person at Belk, and a salon manager at JC Penny. Loretta also enjoyed traveling. A funeral service will held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Canton Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Mabry officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church after the service. Loretta Shoe is survived by her spouse Larry Lee Shoe of Mount Pleasant, retired superintendent of N.C. Division of Prisons; her sister Marlene Harkey of Albemarle NC, and her brothers Roger Parker of Concord NC, Michael Parker of Albemarle NC; and multiple nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to: Canton Baptist Ch. Building fund and Hospice of Stanly Co. The Family meeting place will be her home: 36496 Finger Rd, Mt. Pleasant.
