Lorine Duckworth

Lorine Ledford Duckworth, 80, a long time resident of Concord went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 28, 2010 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord. Born on January 12,1930 in Gaston County, to the late Ray Everette Ledford and the late Grace Baird Ledford. She was preceded in death by her husband James Robert Duckworth and a son Gregg Duckworth. Mrs. Duckworth was a homemaker, and attended First Assembly in Concord. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 4 PM with the Rev. Forrest Jones and the Rev. Roger Burrows officiating. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Survived by: children, Sandra Duckworth Dale and husband Frank Robert of Weaver, AL, Julia Kay Duckworth Bell and husband Joe "Butch" of Indian Trail, NC, Paul Ray Duckworth and wife Cathy of Vale, NC, Robert Lang Duckworth and wife Anne of Richmond, VA; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and also her cat, Belle.
