Lorraine Calloway

Lorraine Jeanette (Helms) Calloway, age 64, of 865 Accent Ave., Concord, N.C., died Monday, June 8, 2009, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Mrs. Calloway was the retired owner and operator of Accent Florist and was a member of Bogers Chapel United Methodist Church, Concord. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She was born February 5, 1945, the daughter of the late Johnny Helms and Melvia (Lowder) Helms. She is survived by her husband James D. Calloway of the home; step daughter, Tamara Kindley of Concord; step daughter Rayma Harvey of Harrisburg; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Concord, PO Box 367, Concord, N.C., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Funeral service will be at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel - Concord at 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 9, 2009 , Rev. Roxane K. Almond officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord.
