Lou Caldwell

Lou Ellen Caldwell, 77 years of age, of Norwood, NC passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Caldwell was born March 4, 1937 in Gaston County to the late Fred Carpenter and the late Ruby Lee Wooten. She was also preceded in death by her husband,Samuel A.Caldwell,two sons, James R. Caldwell and Bobby Gene Caldwell, four sisters and two brothers.

Lou Ellen enjoyed traveling and especially going to the mountains.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Survivors include daughter, Lora Caldwell of Norwood; son, Sam Caldwell of Oakboro; grandsons Randy, Justin and Jason, and granddaughters Kristy and Jessica.
