Louis Aldridge

Louis David Aldridge, 89, of Concord, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Brian Center of Cabarrus in Concord.

Rev. L.D.  Aldridge was born August 20, 1929 in North Carolina to the late William Aldridge and the late Pearl Blackwelder Aldridge. He was also preceded in death by two very special ladies: Second wife, Mrs. Margaret R. Aldridge and first wife Mrs. Geraldine M. Aldridge.

Rev. L.D. Aldridge was a retired minister. He attended Mt. Vernon Bible College in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. He ministered churches in Ohio, Tennessee and North Carolina for many years.  Rev. L.D. also taught Bible Studies at his home.  He enjoyed baseball and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves.

Survivors include daughter, Sharon Daughtry; grandson, Marty Daughtry; granddaughter, Allison Mewborn, all of Concord, NC; three great-grandsons, Dylan Stevens of Salina, KS; Kyle Mewborn of Concord, NC; and Seth Mewborn, of Norfolk VA.

There will be a graveside service Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 10:00 am at Oakwood Cemetery, 421 Church Street, Concord NC, officiated by Reverend Mike Parks.
