Louise Lee

Louise Lee, 90, of Concord, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Universal Healthcare. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Monday, May 21, 2012, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL. Louise was born on February 24, 1922, to the late Kyer and Sophie Lovell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenith Lee; and a daughter, Yvonne Smith. She is survived by six daughters, Rose Smith and husband Levy of Concord, Sophia Smith and husband Jack of Concord, Mona Lee and husband Willie of Aura, IL, Donna Stanley and husband Benbo of Shepherdsville, KY, Bridget Wharton and husband Henry of Kannapolis and Brenda Lee of Kannapolis; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Lee family.
