Louise Love

Louise Barnhardt Love, 94, of Stanfield, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Autumn Care of Marshville. Mrs. Love was born January 6, 1917, in Cabarrus County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everette Hampton Love in 1982; father, Luther Marvin Barnhardt; and mother, Rosa Thompson Barnhardt. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., on Tuesday, May 17, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Love’s Chapel United Methodist Church and officiated by Rev. Luci Blizzard with a 30 minute state prior to the service. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her daughter, Kay Riggins of Marshville; son, Everette Love and wife, Kay, of St. Simons, Georgia; grandchildren, Donna Anderson, Melanie Meguiar, Bryan Love, and Emily Ruthven; three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
