Louise Thompson

Louise Elizabeth Thompson, 83 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at CMC Northeast in Concord. Mrs. Thompson was born December 14, 1929 in Kershaw County, SC, to the late Joseph Darling Baker and the late Theola Myers Baker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Benny Tillman Thompson, in 1985. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland. The funeral service will be at 4:00 pm, Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Providence Baptist Church, 3334 Providence Rd., Kershaw, SC. There will be a one hour state prior to the service. Rev. Dwight Mabry will officiate. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include son, Benny Thompson and wife, Cheryl Ann, of OH; two daughters, Pat Clontz and husband, Jerry, of Stanfield, NC, and Oletta Johnson of SC; sister, Minnie Lee Thompson of SC; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
