Lucile Deese

Lucile Elizabeth Deese, age 76, of 1224 Allman Rd Ext. Mount Pleasant, N.C., died Friday, June 19, 2009, at her home. She was born January 23, 1933 in Stanly County, NC She was a scan coordinator for a large grocery store. She was a mother, grandmother and friend to everyone who knew her. She was a school teacher and taught at church. She enjoyed traveling. She was the daughter of the late John Fletcher Deese and the late Nettie Ellen (Clontz) Deese. She was also preceded in death sister, Emma Deese Baucom and brothers John Paul Deese and Charlie Fred Deese. She is also survived by her Sister-Magdalene Deese of Mt. Pleasant, N.C., Martha Deese Plowman of Concord, N.C. Guardian of Sisters Children-Fisher Parks, Beecher & Pat Baucom of Waco TX Guardian of Brothers Children-Shelia Deese of Mt. Pleasant, & Nelson Deese of Waco TX Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland,N.C., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, June 21, 2009. Funeral service will be at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church at 4:00 PM Monday, June 22, 2009 , Dr. Darrell Nance Rev. Don Jordan officiating. Interment will be at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Stanfield, N.C.
