Lucille Harrington

Lucille Harrington, 94, of Oakboro, passed away Monday, January 20, 2020 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

Mrs. Harrington was born May 1, 1925 in Stanly County to the late John Ray Huneycutt and the late Onie Morgan Huneycutt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Onas Ray Harrington; sister, Fay Huneycutt Furr; and brother, Hoover Ray Huneycutt.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM - 2:45 PM, Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Ray Johnson. Burial will follow at Oakboro Cemetery, 1397 N. Main Street in Oakboro.

Survivors include daughter, Phyllis H. Swaringen; daughter, Frances Huneycutt; son, Danny R Harrington and wife Barbara; daughter, Linda H. Litaker and husband Larry; son, Douglas Harrington and wife Sonja; son, David M. Harrington and wife Sherrie; twelve grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Doris Huneycutt Kiker and Mary Lee Huneycutt Burris.
