Lucille Morgan

Omie Lucille Blake Morgan, 87, formerly of Oakboro, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 in Stanly Manor of Albemarle. Mrs. Morgan was born March 4, 1924, in Stanly County to the late Ernest Edgar Blake and Effie Mae Perry Blake. The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will begin at 4 p.m. in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Albemarle officiated by Rev. Brian Burris. Burial will follow in the Oakboro Cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at the home of her daughter, Vickie Lisk, of Oakboro. Survivors include her sons Ronald Morgan and wife, Jackie, of Anson County, and Steve Morgan and wife, Kathy, of Oakboro; her daughters, Judy Helms and husband, Jack, of New London, Linda Little and husband, Jimmy, of Oakboro, Pam Hinson of Anson County, Sandra Wagoner and husband, Johnny, of Gold Hill, Vickie Lisk and husband, Bruce, of Oakboro, Debbie McCraven and husband, Walter, of Oakboro, Margaret Almond and husband, Kenny, of Oakboro, and Robin Crawford and husband, Mike, of New London; brothers, Joe and Bob Blake of Albemarle; 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
