Lucille Stegall

Lucille Hinson Stegall, 77, of Marshville, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011, in Mercy Hospital, Charlotte, NC. Mrs. Stegall was born March 13, 1933, in Union County. She was preceded in death by her father, John Otis Hinson; mother, Ethel Thomas Hinson; brothers, Buck and Flave Hinson; and sister, Dean Maske. The visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00, Saturday, Jan. 29, in the fellowship hall at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Marshville. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 in the sanctuary, officiated by Rev. John Miller. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors are husband, Clayton Henry Stegall, of the home; son, Randy Clayton and wife, Rose; daughters, Pamella Simpson and husband, Arthur, of Charlotte and Kathy Arnold and husband, Richard, of Aquadale; grandchildren, Ritchie Clayton and Randy Joe Stegall, Maggie Griffin, Nicholl Allison Simpson, and Sarah Arnold; brothers, Lum Hinson and Wade Hinson; sisters, Betty Helms, Janice Gaddy, Margaret King, and Gail Price; and eight great-grandchildren.
