Lucy Lovelace

Lucy Mills Lovelace, Age 74, entered the Lord's presence on May 1, 2013. Lucy was born on May 13, 1938 in Albemarle, NC, the daughter of the late Daniel R. Mills and Mary Lefler Mills. Lucy spent her life caring for her family and was a devoted homemaker. She also worked in the day care industry caring for children for numerous years and she retired from Wal-Mart. She was well known for her quick wit and ability to make people laugh; her green thumb, yard selling on Saturdays with her daughter, and the love for her dogs. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church of Harrisburg, NC. Lucy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Phillip M. Lovelace, Sr; 4 sons and 1 daughter; Michael Burnette (Karen), Billy Burnette (Wanda), Tammy Austin (David), Phil Lovelace, Jr (Melissa), Jerry Lovelace (Lisa), 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; Siblings, Roy Mills (Judy) and Judy Grissom (Johnny) and nieces and nephews. The family would like to recognize the superior care that Lucy received from Universal Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
