Lynda Carter

Lynda Kay Hurlocker Carter, 65, of Rockwell, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center - Northeast. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 12 until 2 pm. Funeral service will in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Concord at 2 pm, with Rev. Archie E. Barringer officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. At other times the family will be meeting at the home. Lynda was born on April 20, 1947 in Cabarrus County, to the late Marshall Wenford and Edna Louise Green Hurlocker. She is survived by her husband of 31 beautiful years, Allan Eugene Carter of the home; sons, Tony Marshal Petrea of Hoffman, NC and Craig Allan Carter and wife Shannon of Harrisburg, NC; daughters, Jatana Kay Prevatte of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Shelley Ann Banther and husband Tim of Kannapolis, NC; mother-in-law, Mary K. Eudy of Concord, “Thank you for loving me and accepting and treating me like your own daughter”; brother, Ralph Baker, Sr. of Salisbury, NC; sister, Janet Brown of Clemmons, NC; grandchildren, James Prevatte, Jr., Amanda Prevatte, Timothy Banther, Daniel Banther, Joshua Petrea, Emma Carter, Addison Carter.
