Lynda Kathryn (Grammy) Smith, 74 years of age, of Concord, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 in Concord.
Lynda was born April 8, 1942 in North Carolina to the late Henry Lee Deese and the late Louise Gordon Deese. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Benton Ferguson.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm, Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, the memorial service will begin at 7:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Lee Smith of Concord; her daughter, Teresa & husband, Mike Dakins; granddaughter, Meghan Dakins; grandsons, Brandon & wife, Lorie Benton and Bradley & wife, Leslie Benton; great grandchildren, Rylan and Jaxson Benton; sister-in-law, Judy Smith; brothers, Bobby Deese, Wayne Deese and Bill Deese; sisters, Bea Privette and Sally Butler.
