Ma Sih Jospehine, 66, of Mekaf village, Cameroon, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Ma Sih Josephine was born January 1, 1958 in Mekaf village, Cameroon to the late Pa Zachariah Ngohdong and the late Elizabeth Muam. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ngohdong Augustine.
Survivors include three sons, Buh Willibroad Meh (Rose), Buh Ernest Bang (Jeanette), Buh Raphael Kuom (Loveline); three daughters, Mbung Emmaculate (Dickson), Buh Rachael Tsu, and Buh Caroline Loh (John); 21 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; two brothers, Ngohdong John and Ngohdong Paul; and a sister, Ngohdong Lidwine.
She attended primary school and ended in primary four. She later got married and was blessed with six surviving children. She is a Catholic Christian of Saint Thomas Mission Station I, St. Clementine Quasi Parish Yemgeand, and a member of the Catholic Women Association. She is a member of St Stephen Small Christian Community. She was a successful farmer and businesswoman. She was dealing in buying and selling Njangsa, Egusi, etc. Most of all, Ma Sih Jospehine was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend. She will be forever loved and greatly missed.
The funeral mass in celebration of Jospehine Sih's life will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1400 Suther Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, officiated by Fr. Basile Sede. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in Cameroon.
The family will have an intimate wake at 6:00 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at her son's residence in Charlotte, North Carolina.
