Mabel Chandler

Mabel Virginia Smith Chandler, 89, of New London, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle.
Mabel was born April 5, 1928 in Stanly County to the late William Franklin Booth Smith and the late Laura Nora Almond Smith. She was also preceded in death by her brother; and three sisters.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service to celebrate her life will follow at 11:00 am in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Joe Smith. She will be laid to rest at Stanly Gardens of Memory, 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Bain Chandler of the home.
