Mabel Mills

Mabel Biggers Mills, 93 years of age, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Transitional Health Services in Kannapolis.
Mabel was born September 1, 1923 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina to the late Wade Ellis Biggers and Myrtle Auten Biggers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene B. Mills, two sons Gerald and Wade Mills and three brothers Bud, Ken and Wade Biggers.
Mrs. Mills will lie in state from 10:00 - 11:00 am, Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 4500 Rimer Rd in Concord. The funeral service will follow in the church at 11:00 am officiated by Rev. Rayfe Allison. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Parish Hall following the funeral service.
Survivors include daughter, Sue (J.R.) Clark of Concord, NC, son, Mike (Susan) Mills of Mount Pleasant, NC, sister, Polly Biggers Walker, grandson, Michael Mills, grandson, Jonathan (Katie) Mills, grandson, Chip Johnson, granddaughter, Amy Johnson, Great Grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Seth and Elyse Mills and Piper Johnson.
Memorials may be made to Cross of Christ Lutheran Church.
