Mable Barringer

Mable “Ruth” Barringer, 85, of Concord, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Carolinas Medical Center – NorthEast in Concord. Miss Barringer was born January 8, 1928 in Cabarrus County to the late Guy Edney Barringer and the late Mary Idell Faggart Barringer. She was also preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 3 p.m., Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church, 3600 Hwy. 601 South, Concord. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. in the church sanctuary officiated by Rev. Carrie Bishop. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include her brothers, Wayne Barringer and his wife, Eleanor, of Darien, GA and Bud Barringer and his wife, Zella, of Concord; her sisters, Irene Greene of Concord, Betty Welch of Oakboro, and Eyvonne Shue and her husband, Wayne, of Concord; and many, many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials made to Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church, 3600 Hwy. 601 South, Concord, NC 28025. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Barringer family.
