Madalyn Yates, 68 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Yates was born March 8, 1947 in Stanly County to the late Joe Cicero Brooks and the late Rubye Lois Brooks.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Norview Gardens, Indian Mound Road Norwood, officiated by Rev. Fred Carpenter.
Survivors include husband, Terry Yates, son Todd Callahan and wife LeAnne of Holly Springs, NC, grandson Sean Callahan of Holly Springs, NC brother, Andrew Brooks of Albemarle; sister, Kathy Brooks of Jacksonville, FL, and brother Joe Brooks II and wife Susie of Willow Park, TX. .
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Main Street Methodist Church of Albemarle..
