Mae Morgan

Mae Colene Morgan, 78 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 at Her Home in Concord. Mrs. Morgan was born September 1, 1935 in North Carolina to the late Lewis Johnathan Barbee and the late Ora Mae Corl Barbee . She was also preceded in death by husband Freddie Morgan Sr., 48 years of marriage, brother, Lee Alexander Barbee, son, Danny Lee Morgan, grandson, Jason Morgan, sister, Mildred Small, sister, Evelyn Freemon, sister, Margaret Quackenbush. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11:00am at Carolina Memorial Park of Kannapolis. She is survived by three sons, Freddie Morgan Jr. of Concord, NC, Willy (Marie) Morgan of Dallas and Richard Gray (Rhonda Gray) Morgan of Bessemer, NC; daughter, Shilia (Eddie) Burnette of Mitter,GA; 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Tucker Hospice House 5003 Hospice Lane. Kannapolis, NC 28081 Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Morgan family.
