Malcom Yow

Malcom Yow, 78, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at his home. Mac was born on January 18, 1942.

He was the son of the late Craven Lee Yow and Danner Hartsell Yow. Mac was a longtime member of Howell’s Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer who also loved to coach youth baseball, softball, and basketball.

Mac is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Tracy Yow and Tina Yow of Salisbury, NC; a daughter: Donna Cox of Salisbury, NC; a sister and brother-in-law: Barbara Ann Earnhardt and Ken Earnhardt of Concord, NC; a brother and sister-in-law: Jim Yow and Dianna Yow of Fountain Inn, SC; a brother-in-law: Sam Smith of Locust, NC; three granddaughters: Tiffany Carter, Heather Cox, and Molly Yow all of Salisbury, NC; two grandsons: Aaron Yow and Brandon Yow both of Salisbury, NC. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister: Judy Smith.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm at Howell’s Baptist Church with Funeral services immediately following at 4:00 pm in the Church Sanctuary officiated by Pastor Buster Pigg. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
