Margaret Anderson

Margaret Robinson Anderson, Charlotte. Mrs. Anderson, 90, died September 10th, 2013 at The Oaks at Town Center in Harrisburg, NC. She was born in Charlotte on June 2, 1923, daughter of the late Dennis Hammer Robinson and the late Lucie Grice Robinson. Also preceding in death were foster parents Isabel and Matthew Hathcock of Stanly County, where she spent her youth. Visitation will be at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, on Saturday, September 14th from 4pm-6pm. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 15th at 2:30pm, with a 30 minute state prior, located at Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Locust, Elder Eddie Fowler and Elder Newell Helms officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She was preceded in death by husband W.O. "Bill" Anderson (1986); sister, Marjorie Phillips; and brothers Dennis, Patrick, Joe, James and Calvin Robinson. Survivors are brother, Bill Wedenfeller of Florida, 5 children, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; Nancy Anderson, Harry "Toby" Anderson, Jeff Anderson and children Kaitlyn and Jacob, JoAnn (Tom) Parr and daughter, Kirby (Alex) Hattaway, Phyllis (Chad) Parsons; daughters Megan (Rob) Daughaday, and Cassie (Geremie) Desha; great-randchildren, Amaris Daughaday, Sophia and Logan Desha; two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express deep and sincere appreciation to the staff at The Oaks of Town Center for their loving and compassionate care over her last three years.
