Margaret Freeze

Mrs. Margaret Louise Corriher Freeze, 78, of Concord passed away on October 26, 2009 at CMC-NorthEast. She was born on December 29, 1930 in China Grove to the late Walter B. Corriher and the late Millie Frances Mabe Corriher. She was born and raised in the Corriher Heights community. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Thursday, October 29, at Oak Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Gibbons officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Samuel Freeze, and sister, Katie "Faynell" Scarborough. Survivors include her sons, Freddie Dean Freeze and wife, Linda, of Salisbury, and Bryan Samuel Freeze of China Grove; daughters Anita Freeze Wilson and husband, Boyd, of Hudson, Susan Freeze Morgan and husband, Bryson, of Arlington, TN, and Amy Freeze Rymer and husband, Barry, of China Grove; brothers Walter Corriher and wife, Loma, and Johnny Corriher and wife, Hazel, and sister Mildred Slone, all of China Grove; 3 granddaughters; and 6 grandsons. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081; or to Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 4820 W. NC 152, China Grove, NC 28023.
