Margaret Holt

Margaret Neil Mullis Holt, age 81, of Oakboro, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Monday, March 26, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 27 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Oakboro, officiated by Dr. Terrell Watts. At other times, the family will meet at the home of her sister, Bea Eudy, 513 N. Main Street, Oakboro, 704-485-8701. Mrs. Holt was born in Union County on April 9, 1930, to the late Marshall Clinton Mullis and the late Laura Maude Privette Mullis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lane Holt, in 2009. She is survived by two sons, Dennis Huneycutt of Locust and Ricky Huneycutt of Oakboro; two sisters, Lib Baucom of Monroe and Bea Eudy of Oakboro; two grandsons, Charlie and Billy Huneycutt.
