Margaret Hughes

Margaret Helen Hughes, age 90 of, Concord, NC passed away on November 05, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast in Concord. Born in Cabarrus County on October 23, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Cashwell Dennis and Jenni Beaver Dennis. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Von Hughes on October 12, 1994, a son, Von Howard Hughes and daughter Kay H. Merritt. She is survived by her son, James Hughes and daughter Hedda H. Harken, both of Concord , 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was a textile retiree and a homemaker. The family will meet at 373 Ann Street, Concord. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7 from 2-3 at Hartsell Funeral home in Concord. Graveside service will be Saturday, November 7 at 3:30 PM at West Concord Cemetery, Concord. Rev. Brian Dotson will officiate.
