Margaret Lipe

Margaret Matze Lipe, 89 years of age, of Richfield, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Woodhaven Court in Albemarle.

Mrs. Lipe was born August 28, 1925 in Marion County, South Carolina to the late Melvin Matze and the late Blanche Linn.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Friday at 2:00 pm at Salem United Methodist Church in Albemarle, officiated by Rev. Jacqueline Tookey. Burial will follow at the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery at 20987 NC 73 Hwy, Albemarle.

Survivors include husband, Thomas E. Lipe of Richfield, NC; and son, Thomas E. Lipe, Jr. of Damascus, MD.
