Margaret Nichols

Margaret May Sinistore Williams Nichols, 80 years of age, of New London, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Hospice of Randolph County in Asheboro.

Margaret was born April 6, 1936 in New Castle, Westchester, NY to the late Merion Sinistore and the late Maude Robbins Sinistore. She was also preceded in death by her brother Michael Sinistore and her sisters Maude Sinistore Wood and Marion Sinistore Wood

There will be a celebration of her life at 3:30 on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the home of her son, George Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Lane Nichols of the home; sons, George Williams and wife Nancy of Gold Hill, Glenn Williams and Terry Wood both of Meridale, NY; brothers, Clifford Sinistore, George Sinistore and William Sinistore; grandchildren, Shannon Williams Cuevas, Angela Williams Moses, Brian Williams, Nicole Lynch Huyck and Clinton Wood; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Margaret welcomed eight step-children and many more grandchildren when she married her husband Albert L. Nichols. Margaret loved fishing and camping with all of her family. She also enjoyed karaoke and singing country music with her friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to go to hospice.
