Margaret Yow

Margaret Lucille Yow, 78, of Stanfield, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011, at the Lutheran Home, Albemarle. Ms. Yow was born March 11, 1933, in Stanly County. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Monroe Yow, and mother, Eliza Jane Tarlton Yow. The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral service will be 4:00 Sunday, at Love’s Grove United Methodist Church, Stanfield, where she was a lifetime member,with a 30 minute state. Rev. Jim White will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at the home of her sister, Hazel Smith, at 282 Nature Lane, Stanfield. Survivors include her sisters, Hazel Smith, of Stanfield, and Sadie Furr, of Midland; and brothers, Clayton Yow and Ray Yow, both of Stanfield.
