Margie Drye

Margie Arlene Eller Drye, 91, of Badin, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at The Lutheran Home. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Saturday, June 16, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Bob Romanello, will follow in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. Margie was born on August 5, 1920, to the late Javie H. Eller and the late Fallie Carrick Eller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Banks Adolphus Drye. She is survived by a son, Doug Drye and wife, Brenda, of Marietta, GA; two grandchildren, Barrett Drye of Mabelton, GA and Paige Leflore of Cartersville, GA; and three sisters, Mattie Drye of Winston Salem, Cora Ogle of Hampton, VA, and Frankie Puckett of Hampton, VA.
