Margie Woodle

Our beloved mother, Margie Aline Coggins Woodle, 85 years of age, of Norwood, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.

Margie was born August 14, 1929 in Davidson County to the late Albert McCally Coggins and the late Mary Jane Taylor Coggins. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Walter Lee Woodle; sister, Mary Jane Austin; brothers, Dewey, Elmer, Raymond, Homer, Marvin and Gilbert Coggins.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Saturday, September 20, 2014 at South Stanly Baptist Church, 40907 South Stanly School Road, Norwood. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Toney Parsons, Rev. Chuck Hensley, and Rev. Todd McSwain will follow at 4:00 PM in the church sanctuary. The burial will be at Norview Gardens, 949 Pee Dee Avenue, Norwood.

She is survived by her daughter, Audrey Mabry of Richfield; son, Albert Woodle and wife Jill of Richfield; grandchildren, Jamie Mabry and wife Wendy, Nicholas Mabry and wife Michelle, and Amy Frick; 13 great grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.
