Marguerite Black

Marguerite Faggart Black, 93, of Concord, died at St. Andrews Assisted Living Center on Monday, February 26, 2018.  She is the daughter of the late Delmer and Nina Faggart of Concord.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Eugene H. Black, and her daughter, Kay Black Davis.
“Ma Black” was a loving wife, mother, and neighbor who took care of numerous children in the area for many years.  She touched the hearts of everyone she met with her gentle heart and caring spirit.  Her smile and laugh will be remembered by all those who came in contact with her.
A special thanks to Laura Carbenia and Bob Underwood and the staff of St Andrews for their loving care through the years.
Services will be held Saturday, March 3 at Mt Hermon Lutheran Church, Concord. Visitation will begin at 2:30.  Service to begin at 3:00 with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
