Maria Ubinas

Maria Alba Ubinas, 84, of Rockwell, NC went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

Maria was born October 28, 1937 in Puerto Rico, to the late Venancia Beltran. She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Jose Ubinas; and infant son, Joseph.

Survivors include daughter, Beatrice Rivas and husband Alex; daughter, Lillian Ubinas-Petrillo; daughter, Alba Iris Rodriguez and husband Manuel; daughter, Sandra Sclafani and husband Peter; daughter, Elizabeth LaVecchia and husband Frank; son, Carl Ubinas and wife Grisel; grandchildren, Joseph Paul and Tabitha, Marissa and husband Kyle, Elizabeth and husband Charles, Peter Anthony, Ashley Marie, Frank Joseph, John Carlo, Carina, Carlos, Michael, Gabriella and Eliana; great grandchildren, Christopher, Joseph, Liam, River, Isla, George and Daniel.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by her son, Carl Ubinas.  Burial will take place at a later date at Moravian Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
