Marie Kathrine Richardson

Marie Kathrine Richardson, 78, of China Grove, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Marie was born August 21, 1946, in North Carolina to the late Claude William Almond and the late Juanita Catherine Almond. 

She was also preceded in death by brothers; W.C. Almond, Larry Ray Almond,Wade Almond, Gary Almond and sister Edith Grant.

During her younger years she enjoyed baking and cake decorating. Marie enjoyed going to yard sales and grocery shopping. She also loved watching the birds that would come into her yard. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev Clint Talbert. Burial will follow at the Smith Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at 25711 Old School Road, Oakboro.

Survivors include sons; Dennis J. (Susanne) Lambert of Albemarle, NC, and Roy Lee Lambert of China Grove, NC, daughter, Robbie M. Bennett of Salisbury, NC, grandchildren;Jonathan Lambert, Jennifer Stencil, Christin Richardson, and Gary Lee Lambert, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great- great-grandchild.
