Marilyn Alice Breidinger, 86, of Harrisburg, NC passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Atrium Health University City in Charlotte.
Mrs. Breidinger was born August 18, 1933 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to the late Carroll Barber and the late Lauretta Barber. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William H. Breidinger, Sr. in 1996.
Marilyn graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1951. Music was an important part of her life. She played violin, French horn, piano and organ. She passed her talents and love of music to her family. She was an avid Penn State fan and attended games in State College for 46 seasons. She was an employee of Northern Central Bank until her retirement. Marilyn was a long time member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church until her move to North Carolina in 2018, where she was welcomed with open arms by her new church family at Harrisburg United Methodist Church. Marilyn loved her pets, and her toy poodle, Mika, has been faithfully by her side for the past 12 years.
Marilyn is survived by two sons and daughters in law, William H. Breidinger, Jr. (Eloise) and Robert C. Breidinger (Robin); two grandchildren, Barry Breidinger (Stephanie) and Allison Breidinger. She is also survived by her sisters, Winifred Bower and Carol Ann Barber and her sisters in law, Donna Gamble and Barbara Sampsell, and many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Marilyn's wishes there will be no services at this time. The family will observe a graveside service at Wildwood Cemetery in Williamsport, PA later in 2020.
