Marilyn Mabe

Marilyn Elaine Mabe of Albemarle was reborn on October 25, 2020, her earthly birthdate.  Standing on God’s promise of eternal life when she gave her heart to Jesus, Marilyn waited for the day.  The daughter of Betty Eudy Mabe and the late R.J. Mabe, Marilyn was born in Swindon England on October 25, 1952.

She developed lifelong friendships while moving around the world as part of an Air Force family and attending school at bases in South Carolina, England, Germany, Washington, Missouri, and North Carolina.

After graduating from North Stanly High School in 1970, she attended Central Piedmont Community College before pursuing a career in office management.

An avid reader throughout her life, she also enjoyed her pets and many wonderful beach trips with friends.

She is survived by her mother and brothers, David (Molly) and Mark, niece Lauri Pattillo (John), nephews Boone and Robert, and many cousins and friends who gave her their love and support through the years.
