Marilyn Morrison

Marilyn Rae Baucom Morrison, 68, of Midland, NC formerly of Charlotte, passed away on February 28, 2013, at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Morrison was born June 28, 1944 in Mecklenburg County to the late Ellis Benton Baucom and Alice Savada Ramsey Baucom. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Presbyterian Nursing School in Charlotte and worked at Carolinas Medical Center – Cotswold in Charlotte. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland on Saturday, March 2, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 12700 Idlebrook Road, Midland, NC 28107, with a 30 minute state prior to the service. Rev. Mark Clontz will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her husband, Donald Franklin Morrison, of the home; her son, Phillip A. Morrison of Blythewood, S. C.; her daughter, Pam Tourtellot of Cary, N. C.; her brother, Jerrell B. Baucom, of MT; her sister, Jackie Baucom, of Charlotte; and her grandchildren, William A. Morrison, Andrew Morrison, Lila Grace Tourtellot, Connor Tourtellot, Lane Tourtellot, and Ella Tourtellot.
