Marion B. Carter, 82 years of age, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System University in Charlotte.
Marion was born September 27, 1934 in Vermont to the late Richard Peter Brunau and the late Hazel Helen Henry. She was also preceded in death by sister, Lorraine Monks.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm, Monday, April 17, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Monday, 3:00 pm at Center United Methodist Church in Concord, officiated by Pastor Tony Allen. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery at 1119 Union St. South, Concord.
Survivors include husband, William "Toots" Carter of Concord, NC, son, Dale Glen Rodia of Concord, NC, step-son, Thomas Carter, step-son, Jeff Carter, brother, Richard Brunau, brother, Peter Brunau, sister, Jacqueline Pinto.
