Mrs. Marjorie P. Moser, 86 years of age, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011. Mrs. Moser was born in Wingate, NC, on February 17, 1925, and was the daughter of the late Tess and Katie Price. Mrs. Moser was known for her loving concern for all and having a positive outlook on life. Despite her illness, she always had words of encouragement for others. She was the last survivor of nine children, being preceded in death by seven brothers, J. D., Edward, Robert, Payne, Ollie, David, and Bobby Price; and one sister, Bessie Jean Price. She leaves to cherish the memory of her life, her husband, Frank Sr. and granddaughter Taniya, of the home; one son, David Washington and his wife, Pat, of Darlington, SC; eight daughters, Odessa Archie, Christine Sanchez and her husband, Rueben, Ernestine Koroma, and Laverne Washington, all of Charlotte, Emma Cunningham and her husband, Frank, Frances Washington, Katie Moser, and Sandra Washington, all of Midland; her beloved seven step-sons, Frank Jr., Roscoe, and William, all of Concord, Tom and Jerry, of Washington, DC, and Val Moser of Asheboro, NC; one step-daughter, Avon Greene of Fayetteville; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Price of Rockingham, Betty Price of Philadelphia, PA, and Hallie Mae Price of Wingate; and a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. In addition, there is a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends, including a very special family friend, Horace Davis.
