Mark Lee Bryant, II

Family and friends, it is with great sadness that Mark Lee Bryant II, (Marty) (Fred) 61, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, from an extended illness at his residence in the greater Charlotte area.

Mr. Bryant was born February 27, 1962, in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Mark Lee Bryant and Ruth Ann Church Bryant. 

Marty be greatly missed. He attended Olympic High School. He loved to fish and go to the beach. He loved to play baseball and collect vintage baseball cards. He was a sports enthusiast and an avid North Carolina Tar Heels fan. He was a proud father and Paw Paw who loved his family dearly.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5th, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, 13575 Broadway Ave., Midland, NC 28107. The service will be officiated by Rev. Rick McManus.

Survivors include his mother, Ruth Ann Church Bryant; son, Mark Lee Bryant, III of Waxhaw, NC; daughter, Shena Bryant of Monroe, NC; brother, Cavin Bryant (Nikki) of Stanfield, NC; sister, Karen Gordon (Chip) of Richburg, SC; and his companion, Rhonda Byrum of Belmont, NC. He leaves behind seven grandchildren, Conner, Brady, Audrey, Bailey, Jeremy, Austin, and Chloe.
