Mark Eugene Ford, 37 years of age, of Concord, NC passed away at home on Tuesday, February 28, 2017.
Mark was born January 2, 1980 in Charlotte, NC to Perry Gale Ford and Jackie Ann Johnson Ford.
In addition to his parents, Perry and Jackie, Mark is survived by his sons Gavin and Ethan Ford; sister Lesley Davis and husband Robbie; sister Sonya Nettles; paternal grandmother Mary Belle Ford; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Melissa Ann Covington and his paternal grandfather Clifford Ford.
Mark loved fishing, the outdoors and going to the beach. He enjoyed working on classic cars, and was a master at his craft of painting and auto body repairs. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm, officiated by Dr. Rodney Quesenberry of Broadus Baptist Church in Concord. Committal services will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
