Marlene Anderson

Marlene Anderson, 79, of Concord, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 30, 2016.
Marlene was born December 23, 1936 in Washington, PA to the late Elmer Leland McCaslin and the late Helen Pearl Medling. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy; her daughter, Lynn Anderson; as well as brothers, Lee and Larry McCaslin.
Survivors include two sons; Charles (Eleanor) Anderson and James (Jayne) Anderson both of Concord; daughter, Lori (Rick) Starnes of Kernersville; sister, Lela Stewart of Mineral, Va.; as well as eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016 at Harrisburg Baptist Church in Harrisburg, NC. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm officiated by Pastor Jimmy Lee Bartley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
