Marlene Crawford

Marlene Nordlund Crawford, 74 years of age, of Kannapolis, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Marlene was born July 8, 1942 in New York to the late Loge Nordlund and Katherine Violet Nordlund. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Crawford; grandson, Daren Ellis; brother, Brant Nordlund and sisters, Karen Fairbanks and JoAnn Redding.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, Friday, January 6, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Friday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord in officiated by Rev. Joey Spry . Burial will follow at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in New York at a later date.
Survivors include her son, Marshall Ellis of Kannapolis, NC; grandsons, Kyle Ellis of Kannapolis, Cory Ellis of Kannapolis, Ryan Ellis of Kannapolis, NC, Shane Ellis of Allegany, NY; great granddaughter, Harper Ellis of Kannapolis, brother, Alan Nordlund of Statesville, NC, sister, LuAnn Gaylor of Kannapolis.
