Martha Justus

Martha Johnston Justus, 89, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

Mrs. Justus was born June 1, 1929 in Mecklenburg County to the late James Frederick Johnston and the late Susan Ruth Sweatte Johnston. She was also preceded in death by husband, Allen C. Justus, Sr. and brother, James F. Johnston.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The graveside service will be on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 11:00AM at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle officiated by Rev. Darrell Huneycutt.

Survivors include daughter, Rhonda Justus Carter and husband Kenneth of New London; sons, Allen C. Justus, Jr. and spouse of Louisville, KY and Michael J. Justus and spouse of Fort Supply, OK; granddaughters, Stacy Carter Frick and husband Brandon of New London and Angie Murphy and spouse of CA; and great-granddaughters, Rachel Frick and Leah Frick.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County and the Uwharrie, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
