Martha Lindsey

Martha Ann Edgeworth-Pait Lindsey, 83 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at Avante Assisted Living Facility.

Martha was born December 7, 1931 in South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Roy C.and Mildred Ellen Pait and Fred Edgeworth. She was also preceded in death by her husband Price Boyd Lindsey, a triple war veteran and her son Tony Ray Lindsey

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, March 9, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord officiated by Rev. Jesse Watkins. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord.

Survivors include her four daughters Vickie Eudy, Cathy Lindsey, Tammie L. Jasinto and Lena L. Brown and husband Daryl all of Concord. Twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, one sister Billie Baughn of Florida.

Martha was the owner and operator of Lindsey's Daycare and owned RyLind Properties. She was a homemaker and her passion was cooking for her family and friends. The family will be gathering at Martha's home.
