Martha Pritchard

Martha Evelyn Griffin Pritchard, 82 years of age, of Locust, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Mrs. Pritchard was born July 11, 1933 in Anson County to the late Claude Griffin and the late Edith Virginia Griffin. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Selma Griffin Hagler.

The Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Locust United Methodist Church, 125 Fairview Street, Locust, officiated by Rev. Rile Baucom.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Walter Pritchard of Locust; son, Michael (Jane) Smith of Albemarle; daughters, Cynthia (Dale) Mills of Mooresville and Rhonda (Michael) Kern of Locust; grandchildren, Amanda Poplin (Tommy) Williamson, Heather Cope, and Jared (Chasity) Smith; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Colton, Claira, Cloe, and Jaycey Williamson, and Cloie Sutton; and sisters, Claudia Griffin Baucom and Tonyia Tomberlin.
