Martha Tarleton

Martha Lou Ellis Tarleton, 82 years of age, of Midland, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.
Martha was born April 7, 1933 in Orlando, FL, to the late James Henry Ellis and the late Mildred Nevada Ellis. She was also preceded in death by sons James Kenneth Tarleton, and Tony Allen Tarleton; and brother, James Ellis.
A memorial service officiated by Rev. Robert E. Varnadore will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 16, 2015 at True Life Church of God, 588 Fussell Road, Leesburg, Georgia 31763. The burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, 1907 Dawson Road, Albany, Georgia 31707.
Survivors include husband of 65 years, James Edward Tarleton of Midland; daughter, Cassandra (Stuart) McFarlane of Midland; son, Bruce (Penny) Tarleton of Calhoun, MO; sister, Sally Hattaway of Griffin, GA; 11 grandchildren, James Kenneth Tarleton, Jr., Heather Tarleton, Antony Tarleton, Christopher Tarleton, Kenneth James Tarleton, Jennifer Sanchez, Jason Tarleton, Amber Tarleton, Megan Ortman, Patrick McFarlane, and Madison McFarlane; 11 great-grandchildren; niece, Brenda Sessoms; and two nephews, Jeff and Mitchell Hattaway.
