Martin Brewster Deaton, 43 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare Systems NorthEast in Concord.
There will be a service at a later date at Plyler Baptist Church.
Martin Brewster Deaton III was born on December 21,1972 to Curtis Edwin and Peggy Jean of North Carolina. Martin was employed by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety as a Correctional Sergeant at Albemarle Correctional Institution.
He loved spending his free time hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful friend and family man.
Martin is survived by his wife Mary Joy and children Jimmy, Jacob, Joseph, Jana and Janelle.
